Roger Alford, Part 2: Testimony to Wisconsin Senate

Trying to understand the thinking of the new Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division

Roger Alford, Part 2: Testimony to Wisconsin Senate
This was testimony before US Senate, not Wisconsin Senate… but hey!

In my previous post about Roger Alford’s appointment as the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division, I said that I couldn’t find any other articles or given any presentations on antitrust in real estate.

A reader—a surprising reader whose identity I can’t share, but you know who you are—sent me the transcript from a hearing before the Wisconsin Senate. I think this testimony provides a bit more insight into Alford’s thinking about real estate.

Again, we are going to engage in speculation, but hey, informed speculation is what we do around these parts.

Let’s get into it.
