How Exactly Would More Inventory Make Housing More Affordable?
Thinking through Zillow's new report on missing inventory
Just saw today that Zillow has released a new report showing that the U.S. needs 4.3 million more homes to deal with the affordability crisis. Since this is a major concern of mine, I went over to take a look-see.
It’s an interesting and important report, and I do urge you all to read the whole thing if you’re into the topic. But it left me asking far too many questions and wondering about how this would work, exactly.
So let’s dive into this report, think about affordability, and possibly touch on my own policy proposals for housing affordability.
